Zaful.com is an online clothing retailer based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The company has connections with clothing designers and manufacturers throughout China. This makes it possible for Zaful.com to sell items at extremely low prices. I’ve never seen a United States company that can compete with these prices. Even the fast fashion stores that are known for cheap prices are more expensive than this.
Zaful.com offers pretty straight-forward retail services that are similar to those that you will get from other online clothing stores. There are a few features that stand out to me, though. I’ll write a bit about each one to help you decide whether Zaful.com is the right website for you.
Diverse Clothing Options
Zaful.com has all kinds of clothing and accessories, including:
You’ll also find a lot of diverse styles. I’d say that most of the clothes sold by Zaful.com are made for younger people. Still, it’s hard to say that the company only sticks to one style. I’ve seen clothes on there that I would describe as preppy. But I’ve also seen plenty of clothes that look like something a hippie would wear at a music festival.
No matter what styles you like to wear, I’d recommend visiting Zaful.com to see if it has clothes you like.
Surprisingly High Quality Clothes
When I made my first purchase through Zaful.com, I was a little concerned that the dress I bought wouldn’t have very good quality. I mean, it was really inexpensive and in my experience that usually means that the stitching isn’t great or the fabric doesn’t feel very soft.
I was shocked by the high quality of the dress. It was at least as good as anything I would have bought at the mall. Of course, I would have spent at least twice as much money if I had bought it at the mall.
I’ll write a bit in the next section about Zaful’s low prices. Before I get to that, though, I should mention how easy the website makes it for shoppers to browse sales.
When you visit the website, you can find a large sales tab that will let you either look at all of the items on sale or focus on specific categories (shoes, jackets, sweaters, etc.) It’s an incredibly convenient way to find the lowest prices available on Zaful.com.
Zaful’s prices is what attracted me to the website. At first, I was a little uncertain about buying clothes from a company based in China. It’s just so far away. And I’ve heard a lot of negative stories about business practices in that country. When I saw that I could buy a dress for under $20, though, I figured I might as well give it a shot. There wasn’t much to lose if the company didn’t follow through. I mean, $20 is pretty low risk even for someone like me who doesn’t have a ton of money.
If you decide to order something from Zaful.com, I suggest spending at least $30. That will qualify you for free shipping. Considering that shipping to the United States costs about $5, you might as well go ahead and spend a few more dollars. It’s better to get something in return for your money than spend it on shipping charges.
Oh, I almost forget to mention that Zaful.com gives you plenty of options to save even more money. The website is constantly giving me coupon codes that help me save on my orders. You can get a discount just for signing up for email newsletters. I once even got a $20 coupon for inviting a friend to shop at Zaful.com. She had to buy something before I got the coupon, but considering that I didn’t have to put any real effort into it, that’s a steal.
In my experience, Zaful.com sells great clothing, so there’s nothing to complain about there. Delivery, however, takes longer than expected. I can understand that Zaful.com has lot of hurdles to jump through. It’s located in China, so shipping products to places like the United States can’t be easy. There’s not only the long distance to travel, but all of the border customs to deal with. I suspect that a lot of times packages get held up in customs.
Because of these issues, I can’t very well blame Zaful.com for its delivery problems. I can, however, blame it for giving customers misleading information about delivery times.
According to the Zaful.com website, it takes about 10 days to ship an order to the United States. I don’t think that I have ever seen a package reach my mailbox within 10 days. It takes two weeks, minimum.
It’s annoying that Zaful.com continues to tell people that it only takes 10 days when it has to know good and well that it takes longer than that. I understand that occasional problems happen. But I’ve purchased at least a dozen things from Zaful.com and not once has anything arrived in 10 days. The company needs to update its website to reflect reality.
I have never had to contact customer service since everything I have bought from Zaful.com has been what I expected. I didn’t want to leave this section blank, though, so I went online to learn more about Zaful.com customer support services.
There are a few things you’ll want to know before you shop with Zaful.com.
Zaful’s 30-day Guarantee
Everything you buy from Zaful.com comes with a 30-day guarantee. If you get the wrong item in your order or there is something wrong with the clothes you received, then you can always return them for a full refund. That’s pretty close to what you would expect from other companies. It seems fair to me.
Before you return any items, you need to contact the company and send it a photo showing why you want to make the return. Considering that the package has traveled all the way from China, this seems pretty sensible to me. I’m sure Zaful.com doesn’t want to pay for shipping without making sure that the customer has a valid reason to return his or her purchase.
Returning Wrong Sizes
If there is something legitimately wrong with the clothes you get from Zaful.com, then you can rely on the 30-day guarantee.
It’s just a little bit more complicated if you get the wrong size because the company wants to determine who made the mistake. I find this a little annoying (I have never received an incorrect size from Zaful.com, but I’m used to companies accepting exchanges or refunds on improper sizes no matter who is at fault. Still, I have to stop and remind myself that this is super-affordable stuff coming from halfway around the world) but that’s the way it is.
Here’s how it works:
If Zaful.com sent you the wrong size, then you can get a full refund after you send Zaful.com a picture of the item and explain why you need to return it.
If you ordered the wrong size, then you can choose to keep it and receive a partial refund or you can send it back for a full refund.
Keep in mind that you have to pay for shipping both ways. I think this is the part that I find annoying. I’m probably just spoiled by U.S.-based companies that are willing to absorb the extra expense of shipping. Of course, those companies charge considerably higher prices, so that’s probably why they can afford it.
Contacting Customer Support
If you need to contact Zaful.com customer support, you can do so by calling 1-720-346-9332 or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I understand that a lot of people are probably hesitant about buying clothes from a company like Zaful.com. The prices can seem too good to be true.
I think a lot of people, at least my friends in the U.S. also tend to stay away from clothes sold directly by a company in China. The more I think about it, though, the less sense that makes. Just go look at the labels sewn into the clothes you already own. You’ll find that most of them are made by companies in China and other Asian countries. As far as I can tell, the only difference between Zaful.com and stores in the U.S. is that Zaful.com takes out the middleman. You’re getting the same clothes at a much lower price.
If you are interested in saving money (who isn’t?) on well-made clothes, take a few minutes to visit Zaful.com. Keep in mind that deliveries will take a while to reach you. I wouldn’t recommend buying clothes for an event that’s going on this weekend. If you’re just looking to bulk up your wardrobe, though, I can’t think of a better option than shopping at Zaful.com. It has the right clothes at prices you won’t find anywhere else.
